Junior Data Engineer - Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to optimize data workflows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or prior experience in a data-related role.
