Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Junior Architect role based in Dubai, focused on hospitality and retail projects.
- The Junior Architect will support project teams in developing concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed drawings for cafés, restaurants, and retail spaces.
- Day to day responsibilities include preparing architectural plans and 3D visuals, coordinating with consultants and vendors, and assisting in material selection and specification.
- The role also involves supporting project documentation, contributing to presentations, and helping ensure that design intent is maintained through all project stages.
- The Junior Architect will collaborate closely with senior designers, project managers, and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a portfolio demonstrating hospitality and/or retail projects.
- Experience or familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, digital workflows, or coordination with technology partners.
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and visualization tools (e.g., Enscape, V Ray, or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings, details, and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in hospitality and retail design, including materials, furniture, and user experience; knowledge of UAE codes and regulations is an advantage.
