Role Overview
The role covers architectural drafting, construction documentation, detailing, coordination, and site drawing support.
Drawing Preparation
- Create detailed 2D and 3D plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Convert conceptual sketches into technical drawings.
- Produce working drawings for construction.
- Develop detailed interior drawings.
Software and Documentation
- Use AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar drafting software.
- Maintain organized digital drawing files and version control.
- Prepare estimates and quotations.
- Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and standards.
Coordination and Site Support
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings.
- Assist with site drawing queries and update as-built drawings based on site changes.
Detailing and Quality Control
- Detail staircases, doors, windows, flooring, joinery, and related elements.
