Role Description
- The Owner role is a full time, on site position based in Haryana, India, responsible for strategic direction and overall leadership.
- Oversees product development, merchant acquisition, financial performance, and risk management.
- Sets long term goals, reviews performance metrics, guides senior leaders, and makes data driven decisions on investments, partnerships, and market expansion.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams, investors, and external stakeholders to drive sustainable growth and compliance.
- Fosters inclusive culture, champions innovation, and ensures BharatPe remains a trusted partner for merchants.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision making skills with experience in scaling technology or financial services businesses.
- Deep understanding of digital payments, financial inclusion, and merchant focused products, preferably in Indian market.
- Robust financial acumen including budgeting, P&L management, investment evaluation, and risk assessment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence and oversee execution across multiple functions.
- Background in business, finance, engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) beneficial.
- Experience in high growth, fast paced environments and leading diverse teams.
- Commitment to ethical business practices, regulatory compliance, and inclusive workplace.
