Job Summary
The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
The role includes maintaining financial records, processing invoices, supporting receivables and payables, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and finance activities.
- Maintain the daily sales report.
- Record and maintain accurate transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and verify receipts, payments, and expense claims.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Organize financial documents and records.
- Assist with monthly financial reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with bank and account reconciliations.
- Basic understanding of VAT and tax requirements is an advantage.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data management.
