Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the Finance Department in managing daily accounting operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least one year of accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast paced hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year end closing activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports and schedules as requested by management.
  • Monitor petty cash and ensure proper reconciliation.
  • Support inventory and fixed asset accounting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with accuracy.

Preferred

  • Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and hotel accounting processes.
  • Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay

  • QAR 1,800.00 QAR 2,000.00 per month
