Responsibilities
- Record and maintain all financial and accounting transactions accurately in the system
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoices, payments, and customer receipts
- Perform bank and account reconciliations, including supplier and customer accounts
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, schedules, and management summaries
- Maintain project wise and property wise cost records, including tracking expenses, retention amounts, and payment certificates
- Support construction and real estate accounting activities, including sales accounting, customer collections, and escrow related transactions
- Assist in VAT compliance, and related documentation
- Maintain proper financial documentation, filing, and record keeping systems
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and clients as required
- Provide general support to the finance team in day to day accounting and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 3 years of accounting experience in the Construction and/or Real Estate sector in the UAE
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general accounting principles
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally and Zoho
