- Strong foundation in general accounting principles
- Competence in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to work on site in Doha, Qatar

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Junior Accountant role based at Surgi Art Hospital in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day to day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing basic journal entries.
- Help monitor accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist with budgeting, expense tracking, internal audits, and compliance with hospital policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in healthcare or hospital finance is beneficial but not required; internship or entry level accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong foundation in general accounting principles, including journal entries, ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Competence in using accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and the ability to learn new financial tools quickly.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work, with solid analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial and patient related information.
- Willingness to work on site in Doha, Qatar, and familiarity with or openness to learning local financial and tax regulations.
