- Support day to day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain general ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and assist in preparing financial reports and schedules
- Collaborate with senior team members to support month end and year end closing activities
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry within accounting systems
- Organize financial records, assist with audits, and respond to internal queries related to financial information
- Work closely with the advisory team to uphold strong financial controls and contribute to reliable reporting for clients
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel
- High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Ability to work on site in Doha, Qatar
- Interest in learning advisory and analytical aspects of finance
- Prior internship or junior experience in accounting or audit is an advantage
- Familiarity with cloud based financial tools and basic understanding of financial reporting or budgeting is a plus

Role Description
- The Junior Accountant will support day to day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
- This full time, on site role in Doha, Qatar, will help maintain general ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and assist in preparing financial reports and schedules.

Qualifications

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and respond to client related requests professionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant training and experience.
- Ability to work on site in Doha, Qatar, and adapt to a fast paced, client focused environment.
- Interest in learning advisory and analytical aspects of finance; prior internship or junior experience in accounting or audit is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud based financial tools and basic understanding of financial reporting or budgeting is a plus.
