Role Overview
Join the growing team as an Accountant supporting accurate and timely financial records.
Contribute to the financial health of the company through accounting operations, reporting, controls, and analysis.
Accounting Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing, general ledger maintenance, accruals, and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and record maintenance.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and correctly code and categorize financial transactions.
- Generate balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify cost-saving and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain internal controls and stay current with accounting standards and regulations.
- Support audits or tax preparation with external professionals as needed.
- Perform other assigned accounting duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, detail-oriented, and accuracy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 2,000 per month.
