Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role supports daily accounting operations and works closely with senior finance staff to apply accounting standards and company policies.
Core Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and assist with accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare basic financial reports, reconcile bank statements, and document invoices and payments accurately.
- Support month-end closing, resolve discrepancies with internal teams, and assist with compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formulas, and basic spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, organization, deadline management, and ability to follow structured workflows.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior internship or junior-level experience is advantageous; FMCG or GCC trading familiarity is a plus.
