Junior Accountant

Maven Contracting and Services W.L.L. is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Lusail, Qatar.

We're a contracting and fit-out company delivering projects across hospitality, retail, and residential sectors in Qatar.

We're looking for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced construction environment.

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and issue invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain proper records of petty cash and expenses.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and daily banking transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and accounting statements.
• Verify invoices, payment requests, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting files and records.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting and employee expense records.
• Support the preparation of documents required for VAT, audits, and other financial requirements.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and administration teams regarding financial and accounting matters.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience in Qatar
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting
• Familiarity with Qatar labor law and payroll processing is preferred
• Valid QID and should be transferable
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and organizational skills

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
