Role Description
Full-time remote role supporting day-to-day financial operations.
The role requires attention to detail, adherence to company policies, and effective communication in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and prepare and post journal entries.
- Reconcile bank and ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare basic financial reports and support accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify financial data.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and receipts and help improve financial workflows.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger management, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting and finance software, including Excel and cloud-based accounting tools.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, effective written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate remotely.
- Accuracy, organization, time management, integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct are required.
- Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications or exam progress such as ACCA or CPA is an advantage.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting, finance, or auditing is preferred but not mandatory.
