Junior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience with ERP accounting systems.
• Strong practical experience using QuickBooks is highly preferred.
• Good practical knowledge of UAE Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Good practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable and customer account management.
• Good knowledge of bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately and on time.
• Handle daily Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances on a daily basis.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding and overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate customer account statements and records.
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure all payments and receipts are properly recorded.
• Prepare and update Accounts Receivable reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure customer payments are correctly matched and recorded.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in preparing VAT calculations, VAT returns, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with Corporate Tax calculations, compliance, and related documentation.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are properly recorded and maintained in the ERP system / QuickBooks.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation and records.

• QuickBooks experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with other ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Previous UAE accounting experience is mandatory.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable and customer collections follow-up is preferred.

Only candidates who meet the above requirements and have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE will be considered.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
