Junior Account Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries and ensure accurate and timely transaction recording.
• Verify daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile loan, borrowing, customer, vendor, group company, and inter-company accounts.
• Verify payment requests and confirm payment release to the Treasury team.
• Scrutinize ledgers and identify discrepancies.
• Complete GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, and other monthly statutory compliances.
• Verify salary accounting and reconcile employee loans and advances.
• Support periodic financial close activities and financial statement preparation.
• Support statutory, cost, tax, internal, and other audits.
• Assist with inventory, fixed asset, and CAPEX accounting and reconciliations.
• Prepare MIS and other reports for management and the Head of Finance and Accounts.

Candidate Profile

• B.Com or M.Com qualification is required.
• CA Inter or CMA Inter qualification is preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant Accounts and Finance experience is required.
• Manufacturing, steel, metals, or industrial sector experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, statutory compliances, and MS Excel is required.
• Experience with Tally or accounting software is required.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month.

Work Location

• The role is performed in person.
