Rise and Shine Group is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Payroll Accountant in Qatar to support end-to-end payroll operations, including timecard verification, WPS processing, and leave salary calculations.

Responsibilities
- Perform timecard verification to ensure accuracy of attendance, working hours, and payroll inputs
- Process payroll in compliance with the Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements
- Monitor and calculate Overtime (OT) and Holiday Overtime (HOT) accurately
- Manage leave salary calculations, including interim settlements and final settlements
- Ensure payroll data integrity, reconciliation, and timely reporting
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Support monthly payroll closing activities and variance analysis
- Coordinate with HR and operations teams for attendance, leave, and employee data validation
- Ensure full compliance with Qatar Labor Law, including benefits, deductions, and statutory requirements
- Assist in handling employee payroll related queries in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1 3 years of experience in payroll or accounting (GCC experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of WPS payroll processing
- Working knowledge of Qatar Labor Law
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll systems
- High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: QAR 1,500 – QAR 2,000 (based on experience)
