Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Jr.
Officer – Logistics to join our team in the Gold Manufacturing & Commodities Trading industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, shipment documentation, inventory movements, customs clearance support, and ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of precious metals and related commodities.
The ideal candidate should have experience in logistics coordination, import/export documentation, and supply chain processes, preferably within the gold, precious metals, commodities trading, or manufacturing sectors.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, airway bills, and shipping documents.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, courier companies, customs brokers, and transportation providers.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to management and relevant departments.
- Assist with import and export documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment schedules and delivery requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, stock transfers, and logistics transactions.
- Support warehouse operations, inventory reconciliation, and stock control activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and trade requirements.
- Monitor logistics costs and assist in controlling transportation expenses.
- Resolve shipment-related issues and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
- Prepare logistics reports and maintain proper filing of all shipping and customs documentation.
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to logistics operations.
- Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, or import/export operations.
- Experience in the Gold Manufacturing, Precious Metals, Commodities Trading, Manufacturing, or Logistics industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, customs documentation, and freight operations.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and trade documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo or similar software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
