Jr. Financial Analyst

Centennial Technologies is seeking a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to support a fast-paced public sector client.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong foundation in finance/accounting, solid analytic skills, and an interest in building a career in federal financial management.

The Junior Financial Analyst will support financial reporting, data analytics, and process documentation efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates clearly, and is eager to grow technical and professional skills in a structured environment.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively across cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support the preparation of financial reports and/or federal financial statements through data analysis and validation of large datasets.
• Ability to document and understand complex processes, including Standard Operating Procedures, desk guides; and process flowcharts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, IF statements, lookup formulas (VLOOKUP/LOOPUP/Index Match), and basic macros.
• Strong analytical mindset and technical writing skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in accounting/financial management with a demonstrated ability in areas such as cost and financial accounting techniques, accounting operations, business management and possess knowledge of financial and accounting policies.
