Role Overview
The role combines quality and design engineering work for galvanizing plant manufacturing and supply projects.
The employer provides galvanizing plant equipment and services to the galvanizing industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings.
- Notify the Project Manager of scheduling conflicts.
- Produce CAD/BIM production drawing packages including structural details.
- Prepare structural calculations in a logical, reviewable, and presentable format for review, approval, and client submissions.
- Perform structural calculations using analysis programs or manual methods.
- Collaborate with team members to complete engineering tasks on time.
- Ensure project drawings and calculations are reviewed and approved by senior staff.
- Participate in office meetings and discussions.
- Report non-compliance.
- Check material and equipment documents against purchase orders.
- Inspect materials and equipment against drawings and purchase orders.
Requirements
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 1 year of total work experience is preferred.
- English and Hindi are preferred languages.
