About The Role
Prime Communications is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr.
Database Developer & Business Analyst to join our growing team in Sugar Land, TX.
This combined role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering and business insight — someone who can build and maintain robust database solutions while also translating business needs into actionable reporting and analytics.
Database Development
- Design, develop, and maintain stored procedures, views, and queries across MySQL, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments
- Build and support automated data pipelines that feed into retail performance dashboards and reporting tools
- Assist in debugging and optimizing existing database objects and ETL processes
- Participate in data modeling and schema design discussions
- Maintain data integrity and ensure consistency across multiple database platforms
Business Analysis
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and scheduled reports using SQL-based tooling
