Jr Biometrics Software Engineer / SES

• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies.
• Experience developing applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core, or modern .NET platforms.
• Exposure to biometric technologies such as fingerprint, facial recognition, iris recognition, or identity verification systems.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.
• Experience developing secure applications and understanding application security best practices.
• Familiarity with integrating third-party SDKs, hardware devices, or external systems.
• Experience using GitHub or similar source control systems.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working with biometric SDKs, ABIS/AFIS systems, or identity management platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of biometric industry standards such as NIST, ICAO, ANSI, or ISO.
• Experience working in government, homeland security, immigration, border management, or law enforcement technology environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and containerized applications.
• Experience developing Windows desktop applications and services.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant software engineering experience. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and professional experience may be considered.
