Journeyperson Pipefitters possess the full range of knowledge required to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for oil, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Site: Cenovus Christina Lake North plant, north of Conklin, AB
Rotation: 8/6
Shift Rate: $300/shift
Travel allowance provided
Camp accommodations provided
Read and interpret red-line construction drawings and blueprints (Isometrics, P&ID’s, etc.)
Assemble piping and valves in module and compressor packages
Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
Hydrotest, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility
Measure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shape
Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems

Must possess a valid Journeyperson certificate from the appropriate provincial or federal authority.
Must have or be willing to obtain valid H2S Alive and CSTS 2020 or PST tickets. (CSTS 09 and CSO/BSO will not be accepted.)
