The Joinery Foreman is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing all joinery workshop and site activities.
Day to day tasks include supervising joinery teams, allocating work, and ensuring that production and installation are completed to specification, on time, and within quality standards.
The Joinery Foreman coordinates with project managers, site supervisors, and designers to interpret drawings, plan workflows, and resolve technical issues.
Responsibilities also include monitoring material usage, enforcing safety procedures, conducting quality checks on finished joinery items, and reporting progress and issues to management.
The role requires hands on leadership, clear communication, and consistent presence on site and in the workshop.

Strong technical joinery skills, including understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop details.
Experience in team supervision and coordination, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and mentoring of carpenters and joinery staff.
Proficiency in production planning and workflow management, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate workshop and site activities.
Knowledge of quality control and safety standards, including inspection of completed work, adherence to HSE regulations, and implementation of safe working practices.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with project managers, site engineers, designers, suppliers, and clients.
Previous experience as a Joinery Foreman or similar supervisory role in interior fit out or joinery, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
Familiarity with joinery machinery, tools, and basic maintenance, as well as practical problem solving abilities for technical and site related challenges.
Relevant vocational or technical qualification in carpentry, joinery, or interior fit out; additional training in project supervision or construction management is an advantage.
