Role Overview
- The Site Engineer / Operations Engineer / Joinery Estimator is responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating project execution, and preparing accurate cost estimates for joinery and fit out projects.
- The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities and monitor project progress.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment at the site.
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Resolve site related technical and operational issues.
- Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications for estimation purposes.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for joinery and fit out works.
- Calculate material, labor, and production costs.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Support tender submissions, budgeting, and project cost control.
