Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and site conditions to prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery and custom furniture works.
Quantify materials, labor, and fabrication requirements; prepare bills of quantities; and obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Prepare clear and competitive pricing proposals, value engineering options, and bid documentation for tenders and negotiated projects.
Coordinate with the design, production, and procurement teams to confirm feasibility, optimize material usage, and ensure estimates align with workshop capabilities and installation methods.
Support project handover, assist in budget tracking, and update cost databases based on actual project performance.

Strong joinery estimation skills, including reading and interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, preparing bills of quantities, and developing accurate cost breakdowns for custom joinery and furniture.
Solid technical knowledge of joinery materials, fittings, finishes, hardware, and manufacturing processes, including CNC based production and workshop capabilities.
Proficiency with estimation and office software (e.g., Excel, estimating tools, and basic CAD or drawing review software) to quantify items and prepare professional cost proposals.
Experience coordinating with design, procurement, and site teams to clarify scope, resolve discrepancies, and align estimates with project schedules and installation requirements.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple tenders or quotations.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear proposals, clarifications, and cost summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
Prior experience as a joinery estimator, quantity surveyor, or similar role in interior fit out, joinery, or furniture manufacturing, ideally in the Middle East market.
Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical discipline.
