Overview

1.

General Objective of the Position

Ensure a safe and enjoyable entertainment experience for visitors by monitoring operational standards, facility cleanliness, staff performance, and strict compliance with local and international safety protocols.

2. Entertainment-Related Duties & Responsibilities

· Games and Facilities Safety: Conduct regular inspections of rides, games, and entertainment equipment to ensure readiness and compliance with technical regulations (such as SASO standards for amusement rides and equipment).

· Service Quality Monitoring: Evaluate ( frontline ) staff performance to ensure exceptional customer service aligned with the entertainment entity’s brand identity.

· Visitor Experience Quality: Perform “mystery shopper” activities and analyze the visitor journey to identify weaknesses in waiting times, crowd flow, or show quality.

· Public Health Management: Supervise cleanliness and sanitation standards in play areas, restrooms, and Food & Beverage (F&B) areas.

· Complaint Response: Immediately investigate any safety or service-related complaints and provide corrective action reports to prevent recurrence.

· Standards Training: Educate new and seasonal employees on quality and safety standards related to entertainment events.

3. Required Skills (Entertainment-Specific)

· Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks in large crowd environments.

· Operational Flexibility: Ability to work long hours at entertainment venues or outdoor event locations with strong attention to detail.

· Emotional Intelligence: Ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences, including children, families, and tourists, while understanding their needs.

4. Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.

· Professional Certifications:

· Fundamentals of Quality & Safety Standards for Entertainment Events (e.g., courses offered through the Doroob platform in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority).

· Public Safety Certifications such as (OSHA or NEBOSH) .

· ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Visitor Satisfaction Rate (NPS / Customer Satisfaction Score).

· Number of incidents or injuries recorded in entertainment areas.

· Compliance rate with preventive maintenance schedules for rides and equipment.

· Response time to on-site visitor complaints.
