Role Description
- The Job Performer will support daily pipeline and process engineering operations, including assisting with flowline and wellhead installation, pipeline construction activities, and tie in works under the guidance of supervisors and engineers.
- Responsibilities may include preparing tools and materials, following work permits and HSE procedures, performing basic inspection and measurement tasks, and documenting work performed according to company standards.
- The role involves close collaboration with field teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of hot tapping, pigging, hydrotesting, and related services.
Qualifications
- Practical experience or strong interest in pipeline, mechanical, or construction field work, including support for installation, maintenance, or inspection tasks.
- Basic technical skills such as reading simple drawings, using hand tools and measuring devices, and following standard operating procedures.
- Sound understanding of safety practices, including adherence to HSE guidelines, use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with work permits.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, follow instructions from supervisors, and communicate clearly with colleagues on site.
- Physical fitness suitable for field work in outdoor and industrial environments, including standing, lifting, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical, pipeline, or industrial trades is an advantage.
- Previous experience in oil and gas, pipeline services, or industrial contracting in the UAE or GCC region is beneficial.
- Willingness to work shifts or extended hours as required by project schedules and operational needs.
