Job Overview

  • Wave Sound Studio, a leading music production studio in UAE, is looking for a Senior Sound Engineer to join its team in Dubai. This is a high level position working on international artists and commercial grade music projects.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum experience required: 7 years in professional audio engineering (studio, label, or high level music production environment).

Technical Skills & Expertise

  • Recording & Studio Engineering: Full control of vocal and instrumental recording sessions, microphone placement, signal optimization, gain staging, clean signal chain management, ability to direct and manage recording sessions with artists.
  • Professional Mixing: Full song mixing across genres (hip hop, afro, R&B, pop, etc.), advanced control of EQ, compression, saturation, reverb, and delay, frequency balancing, stereo imaging, dynamic control, ability to deliver industry standard competitive mixes.
  • Mastering: Final audio preparation for commercial release, loudness optimization (LUFS standards), streaming platform compliance (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.), ensuring sonic consistency across projects.
  • Digital Audio Workstation & Plugins: Expert level proficiency in Pro Tools (mandatory), strong knowledge of additional DAWs (Logic Pro, Ableton Live is a plus), advanced use of plugins (FabFilter, Waves, UAD, etc.), efficient session management (routing, stems, backups, session structuring).
  • Studio Equipment & Digital Workflow: Understanding of professional studio hardware (interfaces, preamps, compressors, outboard gear), ability to integrate analog and digital workflows, fast and structured digital session organization, strong ability to manage tight deadlines efficiently.

  • Flexibility across multiple music genres and artist demands

Languages

  • English is mandatory (professional working level required)
  • French is a strong advantage
