Position Overview
- Wave Sound Studio, one of the leading music production studios in the UAE, is looking for a Senior Sound Engineer to join its team in Dubai.
- This is a high level, demanding position working on international artists and commercial grade music projects.
- Location in Dubai is mandatory. Applications from outside the UAE will not be considered.
Candidate Profile
- We are looking for an experienced sound engineer with strong technical expertise, a fast workflow, and the ability to perform in a high pressure studio environment.
- Minimum experience required: 7 years in professional audio engineering (studio, label, or high level music production environment).
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Full control of vocal and instrumental recording sessions
- Microphone placement and signal optimization
- Proper gain staging and clean signal chain management
- Ability to direct and manage recording sessions with artists
- Handling multiple sessions and artists efficiently
- Full song mixing across genres (hip hop, afro, R&B, pop, etc.)
- Advanced control of EQ, compression, saturation, reverb, and delay
- Frequency balancing, stereo imaging, and dynamic control
- Ability to deliver industry standard competitive mixes
- Final audio preparation for commercial release
- Loudness optimization (LUFS standards)
- Streaming platform compliance (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)

- Ability to work under pressure in a high end studio environment
