Responsibilities
- Manage daily hotel financial transactions, including recording revenues, expenses, and payments
- Prepare and review daily income reports
- Reconcile cash and bank accounts
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable related to hotel operations
- Assist with monthly closings and prepare financial statements
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations
- Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to provide financial insights
Requirements
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and financial reporting
- Experience in hotel or hospitality accounting, including revenue reconciliation, night audit review, and cost control
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work
- Ability to work on site in Jeddah
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

Role Description

- Prepare and review daily income reports, reconcile cash and bank accounts, and monitor accounts payable and receivable related to hotel operations.
- Assist with monthly closings, preparing financial statements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with hotel management and other departments to provide clear financial insights for decision making and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality accounting, including revenue reconciliation, night audit review, and cost control.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including data entry, reconciliation, and basic analysis.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Ability to work on site in Jeddah and coordinate effectively with hotel and retail operations teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality finance, and familiarity with local accounting standards, is beneficial.
