Requirements
- Cost Control and Cost Management skills
- Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and managing BOQ for construction and maintenance projects
- Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of construction contracts, local regulations, and industry standards in the UAE
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving abilities
- Competence in using quantity surveying and MS Office software (e.g., Excel)
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on site
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role in contracting or general maintenance is preferred

Role Description
- The Quantity Surveyor is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for managing costs and quantities across construction and maintenance projects.
- Day to day tasks include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring project budgets, and supporting tenders and quotations.
- The role involves tracking cost variations, preparing interim and final payment applications, and producing cost reports for management and clients.
- The Quantity Surveyor collaborates with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate quantities, effective cost control, and compliance with contract terms.
- The position also requires maintaining updated records, supporting negotiations, and assisting in risk and value management throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Cost Control and Cost Management skills, with the ability to monitor project expenses and identify variances.
- Experience in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision making.
