Job Designation – Project Manager – Interior Fit-Outs

Role Overview

Project Delivery

• Lead and coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, design and technical teams, and site personnel.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, construction schedules, manpower plans, procurement schedules, and milestones.
• Monitor progress, productivity, quality, costs, and resource utilization against approved targets.
• Conduct site, progress, coordination, client, and consultant meetings and close action points.
• Identify and address risks, delays, technical issues, procurement constraints, variations, disruptions, and contractual matters.
• Coordinate payment applications, variation submissions, subcontractor payments, and project cost control.

Technical and Quality Control

• Coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, samples, technical documents, and design approvals.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, material approvals, standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor inspections, workmanship, testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate planning, procurement, commercial, design, QA/QC, and HSE teams for smooth project delivery.

Completion and Reporting

• Prepare project reports, progress updates, programme updates, meeting minutes, risk registers, and other project documentation.
• Escalate critical issues to senior management and recommend solutions to reduce delays and cost impacts.
• Manage project completion, client inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of relevant UAE or GCC project management experience is required, preferably in interior fit-out or similar projects.
• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, interior design, construction management, or a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction, materials, finishes, joinery, ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting, MEP coordination, and associated works is required.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, BOQ, programmes, method statements, and material submittals is required.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, resource management, quality control, and site coordination is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project planning or project management software is required.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is advantageous.
• A UAE driving license is mandatory.

Workplace

• The work location is in person.

Compensation

• Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.
