Grain Cafe Group is expanding its Dubai team and seeks a Procurement Officer specializing in food and beverage procurement.
The role manages purchasing operations for a growing chain of cafés and requires knowledge of the Dubai hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure high-quality fresh food, beverages, and packaging materials at competitive prices.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and annual contracts with suppliers.
- Build relationships with local and international suppliers and evaluate their performance.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.
- Ensure procured items comply with HACCP and Dubai Municipality regulations.
- Coordinate with branch managers and culinary teams on menu requirements and ingredient availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain uninterrupted supply across all café branches.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in F&B procurement, preferably in a café chain, restaurant group, or hospitality sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the UAE supplier market, specifically Dubai, for food, beverages, and packaging.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory for visiting suppliers and branches.
- Excellent negotiation and financial analysis skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluent in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
- Currently based in Dubai and able to join immediately or on short notice.
