We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Jewellery Sales Staff.
As a jewellery sales associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales goals.
Your knowledge of jewellery products, attention to detail, and ability to provide personalized service will contribute to the overall success of the store.
1. Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment.
Assist customers in selecting jewellery pieces based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
Provide detailed information about products, including materials, gemstones, quality, and care instructions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
2. Sales and Product Knowledge
Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting products and services.
Stay updated on the latest jewellery trends, styles, and store inventory.
Offer upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize sales.
Process transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and financing options.
3. Merchandising and Inventory
Ensure displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or product shortages.
Assist with restocking, inventory counts, and special orders.
4. Teamwork and Professionalism
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Adhere to store policies and procedures, including security protocols.
5. Problem-Solving
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or issues professionally and promptly.

Qualifications And Skills
Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery or luxury goods sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for jewellery and an understanding of gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
Standing for extended periods and handling delicate jewellery items.
Maintaining a polished and professional appearance at all times.
