Role Overview
TCS is hiring for a Java Microservices and Kafka role.
The role is based in Gurugram.
The desired experience range is 8+ years.
Expected Skills
- Hands-on coding experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Ability to implement and optimize data structures.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD tools for automated builds and deployments.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop Java microservices using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Implement and optimize data structures.
- Write SQL queries for relational databases.
- Work with Kafka and other message broker technologies.
- Support automated builds and deployments through CI/CD tools.
- Apply Agile methodologies and DevOps practices during software delivery.
