Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Junior Game Developer to join one of our clients, a global leader in the gaming industry, on a contract basis.

As a junior game developer, you will focus on developing and enhancing interactive game modules using Java and libGDX technologies for AI training initiatives.

This is an opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment where your passion for both gaming and code will drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize simple 2D game features using Java and libGDX frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with AI specialists to design engaging game interactions and collect high-quality training data.
  • Implement basic game mechanics including sprite management, game loops, and input handling.
  • Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure optimal performance and reliability of game modules.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of game development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Familiarity with libGDX framework.
  • Strong understanding of game development principles and techniques.
  • Experience with sprite management, game loops, and input handling.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
