Role overview
The Java Full-Stack Developer role follows Priceline’s hybrid work model with two days in-office.
The Technology team develops systems and products supporting Priceline’s travel business.
Engineers collaborate with business leaders on product roadmaps and innovative customer solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build backend systems and REST APIs serving hundreds of millions of searches each day.
- Develop React and JavaScript user-facing features and integrate them with GraphQL APIs.
- Build low-latency, high-throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing.
- Use SQL to collect and query application data for real-time investigation and analysis.
- Work within cross-functional agile teams to experiment, iterate, and deliver product objectives.
- Understand codebase, systems, and business requirements to make effective application changes.
- Collaborate respectfully with teammates and contribute to solution decisions.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering and development.
- Coding experience with Core Java programming.
