Java Development Lead _Vice President _Software Engineering

Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable reporting and analytics solutions for a greenfield project, including build-vs-buy analysis and POCs.

Architect solutions using Java, Angular, and related technologies, adhering to SDLC best practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and align solutions with business objectives.

Drive adoption of GenAI and AI-assisted development practices across design, coding, review, and testing.

Mentor engineering talent and foster a culture of technical excellence.

Manage stakeholder communication and proactively address project risks.

Promote agile methodologies, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

10–14 years of software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs).

Sound knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and SDLC practices.

Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.

Working knowledge of additional languages/frameworks (Python, SQL, etc.).

Practical experience applying GenAI/AI tools in development, testing, or automation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proven leadership of high-performing teams in a global environment.

Experience with automated testing frameworks.
