Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using the Quarkus framework
- Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for banking applications
- Integrate applications with core banking systems and third party services
- Participate in system design, code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Ensure applications comply with banking security, regulatory, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high quality solutions
- Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Java development
- Hands on experience with the Quarkus framework
- Strong knowledge of Java, REST APIs, Microservices, Maven, Git, and SQL
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry is mandatory
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred
- Experience integrating with Core Banking Systems, payment systems, or digital banking platforms is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
