Role overview
The Tech Risk and Controls Engineering team builds cyber risk control monitoring, measurement, and reporting capabilities.
The team is modernizing its application stack with scalable cloud-native platforms, full-stack engineering, and AI-driven experiences.
The role seeks a mid-level or senior engineer to design and deliver production-grade AI applications across the technology stack.
Work arrangement
- This is a contract role with a long-term duration.
- The role is hybrid with three days onsite in Montreal, Quebec.
- The listed pay is $60.00-$90.00 per hour, with expected hours of 40 per week.
Core qualifications
- The role requires at least five years of software engineering experience and production or production-like AI application delivery.
- Primary technologies include Angular, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and secure application design.
- Required AI experience includes LLM application patterns, RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt design, evaluation, observability, and AI security.
- Hands-on use of Claude, GitHub Copilot, or comparable AI coding assistants is required.
- Strong CI/CD and DevOps experience is required; Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native platform familiarity is preferred.
