Position and Role
The position is Java Full Stack Developer - FS.
The role focuses on designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
The developer will work across the software development lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
Work Location and Mode
- The work location is Hyderabad.
- The work mode is hybrid, with three days per week from the Gachibowli office.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java is required.
- Hands-on experience with JSP and Angular is required.
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS is required.
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL or PostgreSQL databases is required.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps is required.
- Practical experience with Redis is required.
- Strong experience with Maven and experience with Gradle are required.
- Strong hands-on experience with Git is required.
Education and Experience
- The role requires 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in Java application development.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is accepted.
- Equivalent technical experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
- Develop and enhance web applications using Core Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, and Angular.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Develop reusable, clean, and efficient code following established standards and best practices.
- Work with Azure SQL and PostgreSQL for database design, querying, data manipulation, and integration.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions.
- Use Redis for caching and improving application performance and scalability.
- Configure application builds using Maven or Gradle.
- Manage source code and version control using Git.
- Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, build automation, release management, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, integration problems, and production incidents.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and quality standards.
Additional Delivery Activities
Write unit and integration tests to support application reliability and maintainability.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and development teams.
Analyze existing applications and identify performance, refactoring, and modernization opportunities.
Participate in deployments, release activities, and post-deployment support.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Follow established SDLC, security, coding, testing, and deployment practices.
