Role overview
This is a senior developer role supporting a highly extensible regulatory reporting platform in India.
The role requires independent work on complex projects and collaboration with technology teams and Europe-based stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices for regulatory platform processes.
- Build a framework that integrates with legacy and external systems.
- Perform hands-on coding, author unit and performance tests, and maintain high code quality.
- Apply technical and business knowledge to deliver solutions for client and business needs.
- Analyze complex issues, evaluate alternatives, and balance competing requirements.
- Work in Agile and DevOps environments and respond to business and management requests.
Experience and qualifications
- More than four years of enterprise web application development experience using Java or J2EE and Oracle.
- Experience working independently on complex and medium-to-large projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- Willingness to work late India-time hours when needed for Europe-team coordination and urgent client requests.
