Java Backend Developer

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java backend applications and microservices.
• Develop and consume RESTful and gRPC APIs and write clean, maintainable code.
• Analyze algorithms and apply data structures, time complexity, space complexity, and low-level design principles.
• Work with SQL databases for data modeling, querying, and optimization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams and use Git for version control.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.

Mandatory Skills

• Advanced Java, data structures and algorithms, time and space complexity analysis, microservices architecture, REST APIs, gRPC, CI/CD, SQL, Git, ES6, AWS, and low-level design are mandatory.
• Experience working on eCommerce platforms is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–3 years of backend development experience is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Product-based company experience, analytical and communication skills, and independent remote working ability are preferred.
• Immediate availability to join the project is requested.

Work Location

• The role is hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹600,000–₹700,000 per year.
