Java and Microservices Developer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Architect and implement containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to system architecture and development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST API design and development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL such as MySQL, MongoDB).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
