The Opportunity
The ITS Operations Manager will own performance monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement across a major roads management centre and tunnel control centre operation in Qatar.
The role coordinates major events with stakeholders and develops, implements, and improves traffic response plans using data, modelling, and operational insights.
Compensation
- The posting states salary up to 40K, all inclusive of basic salary, housing, transportation, and flight allowance.

Role and Responsibilities
- Lead monitoring and reporting of operational performance across road management centre and tunnel operations.
- Deliver monthly and ad-hoc performance reports with accurate and timely outputs.
- Manage subcontractors providing traffic engineering and SCATS signal support.
- Drive data analysis, continuous improvement, and operational enhancement planning.
- Lead major incident and special event reporting, including lessons learned reviews.
- Coordinate with government authorities and transport bodies.
- Oversee event traffic response planning, system configuration, and operational readiness.
- Optimise traffic management strategies using simulation modelling and data insights.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in transportation planning, traffic operations, or ITS environments.
- Experience delivering performance reporting, KPIs, and operational insights in complex live environments.
- Experience with traffic modelling tools, data analytics, and simulation.
- Hands-on experience with incident management, traffic response planning, and major event operations.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
