- Deliver excellent customer service and support for university owned hardware and software
- Provide first line support to customers on clinic floors for hardware failures and application issues
- Monitor and manage SimpleMDM for device compliance
- Purchase, image, and deploy PCs, laptops, tablets, and Macs
- Ensure all devices have latest security patches and updates
- Maintain and support software applications such as Citrix Workspace, ExamSoft, Bomgar, etc.
- Support AV equipment in classrooms and conference rooms
- Manage and utilize software management tools like PDQ, SimpleMDM, Trackit
- Troubleshoot issues with acquisition stations and Xray sensors
- Create and maintain documentation on IT support processes
- Facilitate office moves for IT equipment
- Support exams and exam laptops for students
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of two years of related experience or equivalent combination
- CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
- CompTIA Network+ Certification preferred
- ITIL preferred
- Thin client support experience preferred
- Competent with AD, Azure and Intune preferred
- Proficient with MS 365 Suite of products preferred

Position Description
- The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking a qualified candidate for an IT Technology Support II.
- This is a Tier 1 desktop support role supporting all Staff, Faculty, and Students in clinical, academic, and administrative environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and support for university owned hardware and software.
- Provide first line support to customers on clinic floors for hardware failures and application issues.
- Monitor and manage SimpleMDM to ensure device compliance.
- Purchase, image, and deploy PCs, laptops, tablets, and Macs.
- Ensure all devices have latest security patches and updates.

Minimum Requirements
