Role Overview

The IT Technical Specialist translates hospital and partner needs into technical specifications and integration designs.

The role integrates medical devices, IT solutions, and hospital information systems and supports projects through deployment and post-go-live operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop interfaces involving Neuro, HiQ, patient monitor plugins, Polaris ECG, and Tele-ICU solutions.
  • Define data mappings and transformations, including cleansing, validation, and enrichment.
  • Build and run integration tests for performance, security, and reliability.
  • Oversee live hospital deployments and document architectures, data flows, and troubleshooting guides.

Project and Support Duties

  • Plan and coordinate integration projects from initial inspection through completion.
  • Resolve technical issues after go-live and monitor integrated systems for performance and security.
  • Train partners and end-users to manage the solutions confidently.

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years of IT systems integration experience, ideally in healthcare or medical devices.
  • Network configuration knowledge to CCNA level or equivalent.
  • Experience with SQL databases, Citrix environments, VMware, HL7, and hospital information system integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with sound judgement under pressure.
  • Project management capability and the ability to work independently and across distributed teams.

Helpful Experience

  • Familiarity with clinical devices including patient monitors, ECG equipment, defibrillators, or EEG equipment.
  • Experience deploying solutions into live hospital environments.
  • Exposure to Tele-ICU or remote patient monitoring solutions.

  • Employment type: Full-time, on-site.
  • Reports to the Senior Manager, Service.
  • Expected start: September or October 2026.
