The IT Systems Sr. Engineer is responsible for leading the delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing IT systems within a high-volume production environment. The position partners closely with internal teams and global headquarters to drive system enhancements, resolve complex issues, and support strategic IT initiatives across systems such as MES (Manufacturing Execution System), MCS (Material Control System), RMS (Recipe Management System), EMS (Equipment Management System), FDC (Fault Detection and Classification), and QMS (Quality Management System).
Responsibilities:
Lead delivery and implementation of manufacturing IT systems, including project planning, requirement definition, and execution
Define system requirements and drive alignment between plant operations and HQ development teams
Develop and manage IT project plans, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
Support IT budget planning, vendor management, and contract administration
Serve as the primary point of contact for system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners
Drive incident management processes, including root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions
Lead application change management activities, including defining requirements, coordinating development, and overseeing implementation
Ensure system changes align with business needs, operational processes, and corporate IT standards
Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
Identify and implement system improvements to enhance operational efficiency and production performance
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support system integration and operational needs
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and cross-functional partners
Maintain and improve system documentation, processes, and governance standards
Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements
Communicate regularly with HQ teams in Korea to align system strategy, resolve issues, and support implementation efforts
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
Experience:
5+ years of experience in IT systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience leading IT system delivery, implementation, and maintenance activities
Experience supporting manufacturing systems such as MES, MCS, RMS, EMS, FDC, or QMS
Experience managing end-to-end IT services delivery and operations
Experience working with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders
