IT Systems Administrator

As we continue to innovate and grow, we are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team.

This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, endpoints, and day-to-day IT operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT generalist with strong Linux systems administration experience who is equally comfortable with endpoint deployments, patch management, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or IT Administrator.
• Strong experience administering Linux systems with working knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with endpoint management solutions and tools.
• Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Good understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) and storage.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards (CIS benchmarks, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Ability and willingness to continuously learn new technologies and stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
• Experience assembling, installing, and troubleshooting server hardware.
• Experience with rack installation, cable management, and data center best practices.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in server rooms and data center environments for extended periods.

• Perform employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, workstation deployment, and access management.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
• Manage Windows and Linux operating system updates and security patches.
• Manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user accounts and permissions.
• Support virtual machines and assist with infrastructure administration.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation, and compliance tracking.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Assemble, install, rack, and decommission servers and other IT equipment.
• Perform rack organization, cable management, and equipment labeling.

In compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $145,000.
