IT System Administrator / Cyber Security Analyst

Collaboration and Documentation

• Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and practices.
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, security controls, and standard operating procedures.
• Mentor junior systems administrators and IT support staff.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours system and security incidents.
• Collaborate on IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and security initiatives.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive systems administration experience, including at least 2 years in a security-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server or Linux administration, Active Directory, and enterprise networking.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, endpoint detection and response, and firewall management consoles.
• Understanding of security frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to the organization’s industry.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, incident response, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
